Limited File Types
SearchFast is optimized to search text within common file types such as .docx, .pdf, .txt, and .xlsx. However, it does not support searching within files that are not text-based or contain complex formatting.
File Size Limitations
The performance of SearchFast may degrade with extremely large files. We recommend using the tool with files under 100MB for optimal performance.
Search Scope
SearchFast is designed to search within files stored locally on your device. It does not support searching within cloud storage services or network drives for now. Although, such feature is foreseen to be added in the future.
Resource Usage
Intensive search operations, especially within large files or directories containing numerous files, may result in significant CPU and memory usage.
